How can I register on on Invezta?

Click on Sign-up link on the website.

You can either choose from Quick Sign up or Normal Sign up.

In Quick signup you would need to fill in basic details like email, PAN details and other basic details to get quickly started and check out great features on the website to get hooked to it. However, whenever you want to start investing on Invezta, you would need to complete your full registration which would not take more than 3 minutes of your time.

I am finding issues while registering on Invezta. What Should I do?

I'm an NRI investor. Can I register on Invezta and buy mutual funds?

Yes, NRI investors can open an account with Invezta. You can operate the same using an NRE/NRO account.

However, NRIs from US & Canada cannot use Invezta as of now.

Can I add joint holders to my investment account with Invezta?

Yes, you can open a joint investment account with Invezta.

While registering  you can select holding type as joint / any or survivor to add joint holders to your Invezta account. However, if you have registered as “Single” account, you can not change that account to holding type “Joint”.

You need to then open another account for having a joint holding.

Can I add a nominee to my investment account with Invezta?

Yes, currently you can add a nominee only while registering yourself. Going forward, we would also allow to change / update / add nominee even post registering

I have opened an account with Invezta, but I am not able to invest.

You need to check your profile page and alerts to know whether you need to provide any documents or complete any formalities to make your account investment active. If you have completed all formalities and still not able to invest, you can either

I have forgotten my userid or email id used for registering on Invezta. How can I retrieve the same?

How can I retreive my password?

Click on Login link on the website.

On the bottom of the screen you would find the forgot password link.  On this page you would need to enter your registered and valid email id. A link would be send to the registered email id, you need to click on the same and provide a new password.

What are all details I need to provide while opening an account with Invezta?

If you are someone who wants to get quickly started and check out great features on the website to get hooked to it, you would need to fill in few basic details like email, mobile number, PAN details, etc. However, whenever you want to start investing using Invezta, you would need to complete your full registration which would not take more than 3 minutes of your time.
For complete / normal sign up, you need  to provide following details:
1. Personal details like Address and other account related details like nominee and related details.
2. Fill in FATCA details (mandatory requirements)
3. Provide and link you bank account details with Invezta investment account

Is it compulsary to be KYC compliant to open an account with Invezta?

We help you to complete the KYC and start investing.

If you are not KYC compliant, start the registration process on Invezta and the system shall guide you on the KYC process and suggest the documents to be sent. It’s easy and you can start investing easily.

I am not able to add my bank to the Invezta account.

Ensure that the bank you are trying to register is available in the list of banks that have tied up with Invezta.

How safe is my account with Invezta?

Invezta account offers bank level security of your account.

We have also taken all necessary steps to ensure that your every details including personal and investment details are kept secure.

Also, all your investments are managed even at the AMC level, so you can go directly to the AMC website and transact.

How can I change my registered bank account with Invezta?

Going forward you can modify the bank details  to be registered with Invezta.

However, in the case of change in Bank account, you’ll have to resend the SIP mandate again

How can I transfer my holdings from other brokers or advisors to Invezta?

We are creating a process for the same.

However currently, if you are invested in Regular Plans of mutual funds, you can redeem your holdings with a broker / advisors and then do a fresh investments on Invezta. if you  invest directly with AMCs and want to transfer your holdings to Invezta, you can raise a request either by

Why do I need to provide Bank mandate while registering?

Bank mandate along with a cancelled cheque is required to register your ECS request with your bank. It validates the authenticity of the request.

Can a minor open an Invezta account ?

You can open a minor account on Invezta with a gaurdian who is an adult with valid PAN and is KYC compliant

What will happen to my mutual fund holdings on closure of my Invezta Account ?

You can transfer out your holdings to another Advisor or can directly transact with AMC. On closure of your account, Invezta will provide relevant information to the AMCs for you to transact with them directly.

Is KYC of a nominee mandatory?

It’s not mandatory for a nominee to be a KYC compliant

What is paperless account opening offered by Invezta ?

You can open an account or register on Invezta online without any lengthy documentation and offline form filling hassles. You can complete the entire registration process on Invezta just in 3 minutes!

You just need to share the scanned copy of the fully filled and duly signed bank mandate in case you want to start SIP with any scheme.

What are the charges and benefits for different packages offered by Invezta?

I have subscribed to Starter plan and my investment value has crossed Rs 50,000. What will I be charged for my account with Invezta and will my account type change automatically?

Once your investment value crosses Rs 50k, you will get notifiction vis sms and email to intimate you to make payment online. Once you get the notification, you need to login and visit the accounts / profile page to make payment.

I have not selected any plan while registering. What is the default package that I will get assigned and what are the charges?

Your default plan will be the starter plan that will be free for you till the time your investment reach 50k.

Once your investment value crosses Rs 50k, you will get notifiction vis sms and email to intimate you to make payment online. Once you get the notification, you need to login and visit the accounts / profile page to make payment.

How can I upgrade from my existing plan with Invezta?

You will have an option in the account / profile page on Invezta.

Do I have to pay the package fees in advance?

Yes. You need to pay the full annual package fee/charge in advance at the time of subscription or when you upgrade from the existing package.

Will I be charged transaction fees or any other fees while investing through Invezta ?

No. Once you select any of the 3 subscription plans, you need not pay per transaction charge while you invest through Invezta

What are the charges/fees in case my transaction fails ?

Currently, there are no additional charges /fees on transaction failure

Can I get a refund of the subscirption fees in case I am not satisfied with services offered by Invezta?

For Basic plan, you can not get refund of the subscription fees as it goes towards operational and servicing charges towards your account from the day you register. However, if you select Premium plan, you can get the credit of the advisory fee for a particular period wherein the portfolio suggested by Invezta underperforms. How does "Pay if it Works" work?

Investor who subscribe for Invezta advisory services shall pay the entire annual advisory fees in advance.  Invezta would compare the recommended funds’ performance with category average return at the end of every quarter. The exact methodology of comparison shall be shared with investors.

For any quarterly evaluation, where the funds recommended by Invezta under-perform the category average returns, that quarter shall be free for the investor. For example –  If the funds recommended by Invezta underperform the category average in one quarterly evaluation, then the investor shall get one quarter worth of advisory free in the next subscription cycle. In the next annual subscription cycle, he/she shall have to pay only for 3 quarters. No interest will be paid to the investor on the advance fee collected.

Can I pay my subscription fees using a cheque or cash ?

You can only make the payment online, visit Invezta > go to Profile page > Select Subscription Plan > Make Payment

Does Invezta get any commission on my investments?

Invezta makes you invest only in Direct Plan of mutual fund schemes and is a Registered Investment Advisory with SEBI who can not earn any commission from the Mutual Fund companies.

What are other charges and taxes that I would have to pay other than the subscription fees ?

Other than the one time subscription charges you may have to pay the following charges:
1. Securities Transaction Tax – per investment as per on regulations
2. Exit load – as applicable for every scheme
3. Any other charges charged by the bank
4. Capital Gain Tax (Short term / Long term) based on the holding tenure.

What are the benefits of investing in Direct plan of mutual fund ?

The only difference between the Direct and Regular plans of mutual fund scheme is the cost factor.

The expense ratio charged to direct plans is lower as compared to the regular plan of the same scheme. The difference is to the tune of the commission paid to distributors or agents under the regular plan.

Lower the expense helps get better returns.

Why should I open an account with Invezta when I can invest for free in direct plans using AMCs website ?

Invezta is one stop shop wherein you get access to the world class platform to invest and automatically track your holdings / portfolio across AMCs which otherwise requires lots of portfolio consolidation efforts.

What is FATCA Declaration?

It is a regulatory requirment wherein every mutual funds investor now mandatorily needs to provide the information and documentation related to additional personal, tax and beneficial owner information  towards compliance with tax information sharing laws, such as FATCA/CRS.

For your convenience, you can submit the same through online mode for updates across participating Funds.

I am not KYC compliant. What should I do to get myself KYC compliant ?

Start your registration on Invezta and the system shall guide you to send a few documents to us. Once we receive those, we shall process your KYC and you can start investing.

How does "Refer a Friend" work?

On registering with Invezta, you would get a coupon / referral code that you can share with your friends. Your friends get FREE investments upto Rs. 75,000 on Invezta against a normal FREE investments of Rs 50,000, when they use this coupon.

I have selected Premium plan, when will be my portfolio reviewed and rebalanced ?

Our proprietary portfolio review and rebalance algorithm works around the clock to ensure that your portfolio is in pink of health. You would get alerts whenever your portfolio needs to be rebalanced. It will also provide appropriate suggestions for you to take action.

Would I get the recommended scheme list to invest in?

Will Invezta tell me when to sell ?

Yes, if you have subscribed to the Premium plan, you would get regular alerts on your holdings.

How do I transfer the money for my mutual fund investments on Invezta ?

Once you select scheme/s and confirm your transaction, all the transaction details including investment amount, type of transaction, scheme name, etc are made available to our payment gateway partner. You need to make payment using the payment gateway for all your confirmed transactions.

How can I buy or redeem on Invezta ?

If you are a DIY customer, you need to select scheme that you want to purchase. Once you have selected the scheme, enter the investment amount, transaction type (SIP / Lumpsum), confirm the transaction and you are done!

If you are an Advisory customer, you will have to answer few basic questions to determine your risk profile. Based on  your risk profile, the proprietary asset allocation and scheme selection algorithm of Invezta would suggest a model allocation and schemes that suits your need and preferences. You just need to enter the investment amount and other details to start investing with us!

What is the cut-off time to get a particular day NAV while buying or selling a mutual fund scheme ?

The cut-off time for any transaction to be processed on the same day is 2 PM.

All non-liquid fund transactions that are of value less than Rs. 2 lakh (in a single scheme), get the same day’s Net Asset Value (NAV).

For liquid funds (any amount), and for non-liquid fund transactions greater than or equal to Rs. 2 lakh (in a single scheme on a single day), the NAV that would be applicable would depend on the actual realization of funds by the AMC. In most cases, the payment gateway transfers the funds to respective AMCs by the next working day and you should get the NAV of the next working day.

Transactions completed after the cut-off time will be executed the next business day.

For redemption transactions, to be able to get that day’s NAV, the cut-off time is 2 PM for business days. The money gets credited in your account as per the following schedule:

Equity funds – 3 business days
Debt funds – 2 business days
Liquid Funds – 1 business day

The redemption proceeds are transferred by the AMCs and the above timelines are tentative and may vary depending on holidays and processing by AMCs.

As per the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidance for processing transactions (SEBI Circular No. CIR/IMD/DF/21/2012) of equal to and more than Rs. 2 lakh, the transfer of money to the Asset Management Company’s  bank account has to be completed by 3 PM for qualifying for the same day’s NAV.

If the money reaches the AMC bank account later due to inter-bank transfer delays, the NAV of the next business day will be allotted.

I had successfully invested mutual fund scheme using Invezta, however the holdings / folio did not get updated accordingly.

Generally, it takes 2-3 business days to update the holding details post your successful transaction. However, if the holdings are not updated even after 2-3 business days, you need to bring this issue to our notice either by

Can I track my goal value on Invezta ?

You can track your goal value using the Dashboard page of Invezta.

Will I be able to check out the performance of my holdings ?
